The Wild
This summer I tossed my tent and some camping gear in the car and hit the road for 8 days. I was lucky to see some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. It was quite the adventure heading out on my own. Left Vancouver and stopped in the Okanagan, then Banff, on to Drumheller Alberta home of the Badlands and dinosaur bones, then up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper and then to 100 Mile House. SPECTACULAR!
Taking a trip alone is a good experience. It gives your mind time to settle, for thoughts to sort themselves out and for you to reflect on your life. Most of the time there was no cell service or radio so I spent a lot of time in silence. WONDERFUL!
